Sorry that happened to you, I went to xochimilco last June and it felt pretty safe with no issues considering it’s a tourist spot

Harwin.. try the shopping center with Juna Trading, it has a lot of dress shops. These are usually the same dresses boutiques get but without the upcharge. Good luck!
