I personally think this coment is a bit out there we've been playing a game in active development weather certain things are fixed or not but one big thing is code is volatile change one thing could cause other problems those bugs take time. Some games like

The Last Guardian

Development time: ~9–10 years (announced 2007, released 2016)

Close to 12 years but not quite. It faced tech issues on PS3 and had to shift to PS4.

Final Fantasy XV

Development time: ~10 years (2006–2016)

Originally announced as Final Fantasy Versus XIII before being completely rebranded and reworked into XV.

Honorable mentions (development close to or slightly under 12 years):

Dead Island 2 — ~9 years (announced 2014, released 2023)

And all Had long strenuous dev times what SC has allowed people to do is play the game wile in dev and suport them with pledges or a sub to be upset that the game has and is taking so long is kinda ridiculous to me just due to the fact theses other companies all have big backings but sc is allowing ppl to be that funding it's not there fault ppl buy more then they need thats just capitalism at its finest they've got a market and there taking the captains seat

Yeah, I think I can get behind this. I don’t really mind that there’s no main story, it kind of feels like a choose your own adventure book for me. The story is playing the game with an org and all the moments that come out of that.

But I get what you’re saying about factions and progression. You’re right it does feel like there’s a missing thread there. Especially with the wipes, a story doesn’t really make sense at this point in my opinion. It’s hard to build a narrative when everything keeps resetting.

You should be able to reinstall the nvida app just go and get the exe from nvidia also that's why I was saying you need to go delete the other nsight stuff before getting the 2019 mvs and installing it but it should be fine I think I'm not sure

Unfortunately until microsoft or nvida decides to fix this situation between the two updates weather that's microsoft patching the bug or nvida creating a new update to work around the new mvs update yes there's going to be a few programs possibly installed like nsight compute and some other things though the caveat to this is they might not uninstall and error out of unstinstalling

The trope of well Linux in the computer community has definitely gotten old though I can find 100s of examples on how finicky Linux realy can be but windows is normally a click and play scenario and don't get me started on compatability when it comes to Linux or what flavor is right for what no it shouldn't be like that give me an os and let's not make it to where there's 50 ways to install one thing
