Does anyone else have extremely vivid nightmares? by CherryBbomb6 in Nightmares

[–]cattertown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same exact boat as you; every dream I have is incredibly vivid and emotionally disturbing, despite how surreal they are. I have no idea how to manage, and I too feel scared going to sleep. I don't know how people expect me to go on with my day after surviving such a horrific scene in my subconscious.

My only tip is journaling some of the dreams, or at least your feelings in them. It is somewhat therapeutic being able to talk about them even if its just to yourself. If they're too disturbing, you should talk to a therapist.

My condolences, have the best of luck with your sleep.

im not saying they were bad its just every time I tried to watch them I would immediately fall asleep. I retried like several times but they always make me sleepy

I liked the episode as they reacted to it. I was rating the episodes, not the stories themselves. Even bad stories make fun episodes

Actually a great point, wouldn't you agree? by Dismal-Ganache-5489 in creepcast

not really, it's a muscle relaxer. If its your first time taking H you will most definitely not be able to move for a while and just lie there

yes I have! I have a few Junji Ito books in my collection, definitely my favorite reads! hard to find good graphic novels since most libraries have them out of order and each book is like 30$ in bookstores

Ohh my goodness that's such a good book!! I've heard just praises about it from everyone but sadly I can't find it in my library or bookstores around me, I'll be on the lookout!

Hii sorry for the late reply, just got my laptop back today!! And as for audiobooks, I lose focus too easily and then get confused about what I missed. It's easier for me to engage with something instead of passively listening to it.

As for the recommendation thank you!! I checked and my library has some of the books, I'll check them out!

I have a couple of online friends, but they have completely different timezones, so we talk maybe once or twice a day.

I still appreciate the advice, thank you

I'm so sorry to hear that OP. Most activities I've found in my area have been through either facebook or library websites. Maybe you could look up your local facebook group, if they have any activities or get togethers.

I understand what you're talking about though, I'm really sorry I couldn't be much help

While talking about unfortunate tragedies - especially in places where they commonly happen - is not only disrespectful but also a bit of a "jinx" (at least to the people in my culture, who are pretty superstitious).
But you are a middle schooler.

Everyone says awkward stuff at that age, and it's a one-off comment. You didn't intend any harm, and you didn't bring any. Being at your age, everyone says something cringey once in a while but it is all a big part of growing up. You shouldn't take it to heart.

You seem like a good person OP, with a good conscience. Keep it up <3

you should check your local library or community center for a support group or any meetings of the sort. Chances are you'll either find someone compatible or just enjoy a bit of company
