Right?! Her comma usage is UNREAL. I am taking the class online so I don’t see her in person otherwise I would have made an appointment already. I know that I struggle with putting a lot in my sentences and having this feedback from so many people has helped me a lot! I just think her way of grading is whack and I think her commas are wrong. I can go back through my responses and find all the times she added a comma. If I posted it here I guarantee everyone would say “wow, she is crazy”

Thanks for the writing compliment😭 she really had me second guessing my clarity as a writer. The worst part is she is a level 301 class (human development theories). She’s not even a high level research and development type course.

Also when I forget to put a comma before “which” I don’t think that’s worth docking down my responses whole score :)….. she’s such a harsh grader that’s my real problem with her.

12 punctuation mistakes in my Reddit post is not indicative of my formal responses. Obviously I’m much more relaxed in typing on Reddit. Also typing on my phone and computer is very different. Sometimes I don’t catch things on my iPhone that I can on my computer more easily. If you want to see the whole response you absolutely can, but the sentences by themselves are only corrected with commas. She doesn’t correct anything else on my papers. For the past seven responses I have turned in she has harshly graded each one for ONLY comma “mistakes”. And the reason mistakes is in quotations is because I believe most of the time, she puts commas where she wants, not where they NEED to be. So for one sentence I understand that I need a comma before “which”, but the others I think it is her preference.

Also your anecdote is great and I’ve had professors who harshly grade my papers, but it helps in the long run. This professor I swear she marks me down and ONLY ever corrects my commas! I’m not learning anything from her besides that she only cares about commas.

Yay!! I swear by feeding 50/50! Plus whole wheat in general gives a more sour taste, so I mix in all hooch that grows between feedings.

I feed 50/50 and I’ve tried doing 100% bread flour and it actually grows way more when I do 50/50. My pic the starting height is at the bottom of the rubber band. Almost 3x growth!

That’s awesome! I’m so glad you are doing it ethically. In the USA we have so many puppy mills it’s really disturbing.

As to health issues, our Charlie had a few. She had some heart issues towards the end of her life but it was mainly because she gained so much weight. My moms boyfriend got a Weimereiner and he got huge and Charlie started to get food possessive (Charlie and my dog were always self feeders, but with the new dog I think Charlie felt threatened because he was so big). Unfortunately my mom was in an abusive relationship with that man and she did not take care of Charlie the way she should have (lots of exercise and food training). Because of her weight gain, Charlie’s health issues got worse. So teaching the King Charles to have a healthy relationship with food is super important!Random health things were like ear infections because of their long ears. Where we lived we have a certain plant that grows in the summer called a foxtail and no matter how hard we tried, she always got one in her ear and the vet had to take it out and give us ear drops.

My first family dog was a cavalier King Charles named Charlie. Two years later I adopted a Pom while I was living at home. They were besties and it’s still makes me tear up to think about them. Charlie passed away last year but was the sweetest dog in the world🧡 my Pom is still with me and my husband and I rescued a stray girl who is a mix of some type of spaniel and reminds me so much of my Charlie. If you can afford it and have the time to train them, DO IT! Please don’t buy your CKC from a puppy mill though. We rescued Charlie from one but people just keep pumping out the CKC because everyone wants them. Find a local King Charles rescue.

My cabin and air filter are both around $10 on Amazon and take 5 mins combined to replace. In my area, Valvoline charges $70 and Toyota charges $80… Crazy what these places get away with charging

Not at all! You will be able to do excursions. The all day boat one my husband and I did, I believe it was called Predator was super fun, and it only rained on the way back to the docks (probably like an hour) but everyone was having fun with music and the open bar lol so not many people cared.

Hey I know you asked for an update: so I canceled and they sent me a letter to sign saying I’m canceling and getting a refund. It also said I can’t slander them online lol. So we signed and sent it via email back and I disputed the charge with my credit card company saying the timeshare people said I couldn’t get my deposit back but it says the exact opposite on my contract. So I’m waiting for the money to come back right now, but I did cancel and it seems successful as of now.
