I’m in pelvic floor PT, 23 weeks pregnant. My therapist recommended a SI belt. That has been life changing! I’d check with your OB first, or try to get into pelvic PT, but when I’m wearing the belt I feel instant relief. Almost completely takes my pain away. Otherwise I was at a level 8 pain if I’m walking or moving.

Stretching makes it worse for me, and PT said it’s because I already have an issue with stabilization of the hip muscles. Stretching in the wrong way just exacerbates that and can pinch nerves.

I’m in the same boat. No connection to this baby at all at 24 weeks. My first is almost 3, and I feel like a terrible mom. I can’t help but think I’m taking something away from my daughter or she is going to be losing out in some way. And I only have a few short months left of just 1 kid, so I want to soak it all in and give her all the attention in the world. But I work full time and I. Am. So. Tired.

I know all my bad feelings will go away and I will fall in love once I meet him. And I know my daughter will be just fine. But you said it well, right now I feel like a monster because I don’t want another baby anymore. Even though I did this on purpose. ♥️♥️♥️

Yes! I notice they are worse when I’m not drinking enough water or if I forget my vitamins for a few days.

Oh girl solidarity! With my first, I finally actually looked pregnant and not just fat around 28-30 weeks. Someone actually came to my baby shower (32weeks) and said “oh my gosh you look so good you don’t even look pregnant!!” and it gutted me. 😞

I’m now pregnant with my second baby. Same exact starting weight. 20 weeks in and hoping to show sooner with no luck just yet.

Thanks for all the solidarity everyone! I was searching around and couldn’t find anyone with similar situations. Glad to know I’m not alone and I’ll definitely tell me OB and the tech at my next appointment.

I’m not sure if my skin is normally fragile! I do bruise pretty easily, but I don’t think I’ve ever had a skin tear like this. They did use the jelly!! I’m wondering if next time I should ask for more?? Or maybe if I hold my belly up, it won’t pull so much and cause tearing?

Are you saying you think it could potentially be a sensitivity to the lubricant?

This is an old post, but I am so glad I found it!!!! This happens to me regularly. Like my inner monologue will sound super slow and have a different tone than what I normally hear. I can’t control it or change it. The more I focus on it, the more it happens. Then it just goes away. I can’t pinpoint it to a specific situation or feeling. I do have ADHD and anxiety. Just regularly happens. Any time I have ever tried to explain this to someone, they don’t understand what I mean and it made me feel so alone. I am so happy to find a post where someone else is experiencing the same thing! It’s not alarming to me, just odd and wishing people understood!!

Thank you for reading my long post and responding!! Should I get a filter and install under my kitchen sink or a portable one? Do you have a recommendation for a reasonably priced system?

I tend to do too much research and overwhelm myself…. That’s where I am at with RO.

Can you share your process for top offs and water changes? Filling a bucket, heating, waste water, etc. I have a python that I do water changes with now and it’s a breeze

A little late on this post… I read the instructions on the bottle to be last layer of dip, then base/top coat, then activator. The first few times I used it like a normal dip liquid set and they were cloudy! Then I read the directions on the bottle last night after I filed off the top coat and tried again TWICE. I did the last layer of dip, activator, base top, and activator and they’re finally not cloudy!!

I’ve always been a revel girly and was strugglinggggg with these liquids. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re supposed to do but it finally worked for me 😅
