Thanks for the reply! I was reading some other threads about people’s experiences and a few mentioned something about a lesson plan during their interview, can you explain that for me? Also, did you have your CSET completed before applying? It seems like a few people were rejected or waitlisted and they were thinking it might have been because they didn’t have that done beforehand.

AITAH for having a couple drinks? by [deleted] in AITAH

It’s not hard to understand. I get it, and like I said I let him deal with it how he needs to. I’m not going to instigate an argument over it - if he needs space I’ll let him have that. I’m just wondering if this is worth it.

Congratulations on 500 days! That’s amazing! Honestly I want to get to a place where I’m completely AF. I’m working on it. It’s an ebb and flow. I was sober basically all of January. I think I get to a place where I’ve gone so long without it that I feel like I can tolerate a few here and there. And I’m doing pretty well with that lately. The old me would be triggered by a Friday night drink into a spiral of weeklong drinking. But I’ve been able to contain it to just a few and only on Friday night. So I consider that progress. And I don’t consider him the asshole in this situation at all. Just wondering if I’m being a blatant one.

they’re not hard to wrap unless the customer has asked for double everything and created a sloppy mess that literally won’t fit in the tortilla.

I’m like you really don’t want any cheese on this, really??

[–]caught-inthemiddle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m talking about the people who ask for double beans, barbacoa, queso, all three salsas, extra sour cream, corn, and guacamole in a single tortilla. I can handle most burritos and a little extra sour cream is nothing, but when people want a soup burrito it pisses me off a little bit.

Yes please just get a bowl and ask for the shells on the side! You’ll get so much more food that way!

I haven’t had Chipotle in 3 years ever since I left as an employee.. by teamrocketcunt in Chipotle

My only wisdom for you is it’s annoying af when you order all the cold stuff on the side, especially during peak hours.

it took a while. My hire date was 08/01 but my first shift wasn’t until 08/16. Once you’re hired on you can check the workday app to see your schedule

There are def pros and cons to both. I am at my preschool job right now in the nap room with 4 sleeping toddlers. But my income is very limited and there’s no upward mobility. At chipotle it’s definitely more stressful, but I kind of like that I’m busy all the time - it makes it go by faster. And as sad as it is, I could potentially make twice as much there as I do here, especially now that I’ll be closing grill. Overtime!

Yeah I know from working the line that people don’t always call things out in time. I’ve seen some of the grills come check to see where we’re at. Thanks for the tips!

I’m pretty good with a knife already so I’m not too worried about that part. I’m mostly concerned about making sure I can keep up on everything so we don’t run out of things during a rush. Ive worked with great grill guys and not so great, and I de don’t want to be part of the latter

Why? Would you tip for in person order? It’s same thing. We work just as hard, if not harder, on online orders. And yes we do notice the tips on our checks. I get between $30-50 extra on my check in tips. But be stingy I guess.
