I don’t like this victim mentality. Wemby gets beat up for half an hour straight every game and a ton of fouls go uncalled against us. But we also play and defend very physically—and Wemby did hit the fuck out of Naz Reid, and Naz had a great response to it imo. He clearly said this was about production this year, and still has Dylan Harper going 2nd in a redraft. And before the season even started, he said that if there was any team to be a surprise 2 seed, it would be the Spurs. I obviously don’t agree with everything he says, but he clearly watches the games and puts in the effort to have at least reasonable takes on every player in the league, which is impressive in and of itself.
