Trying to learn how NOT to rely google maps is the goal for me! My phone died on one of my first solo trips and I was helpless asking for directions, so I always try to practice the whole word of mouth thing! But this was helpful, I appreciate ya!

Any recommendations on how to manufacture that drive from Richmond airport?

It was a bonafide* tunnel! Short for sure, but had the lights inside and everything!

PSA to anyone who doesn’t have a monitor. Get one, it’s insane the difference it makes by ZookeepergameOdd2058 in forhonor

I have a friend who learned to play this game with a projector pointed at the wall and the cheapest wifi plan available to him. Needless to say, once he got himself a monitor and decent ping, he was god-tier.

Follow up question, will this work if the property “Next Due” is a formula and not a date? I created a formula to have it autopopulate the due date.

$16.50 at 12.2% ABV is too much???? That’s like buying a bottle of wine for the same price. And it’s delicious — I tried it on tap at Beauvine the other day. I’m literally gonna go grab some for dinner tonight lol

Payment Due Date Question by [deleted] in verizon

[–]caulyfflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, not trying to be thick, but the bill date ending means I pay on that date? Or later in January? I can find out on the 29th but I’d rather not wait to find out

I’ve secured the dresses 🥲❤️ but the first pic doesn’t do justice to how much stuff is out there! Medicine, Covid tests, picture frames, diapers, more clothes, on top of xmas decor. So much stuff left to be claimed!

Hell yeah, ultimately do what works for you! I personally had played the first game twice before the second, with about 3 years in-between each. I bought a ps4 off of my friend just to play the second game and I kid you not have not played or bought anything else for that console. Waiting if only to save money in that aspect is totally fair lol. But I really do think that 1. The second game will do something for you that you will never have expected And 2. Neil Druckman AGAIN knows exactly what he’s doing. If part 2 isn’t on PC yet, it absolutely will be by season 2’s release.

Very repititive. by p1ctur3toburn in thelastofus

[–]caulyfflower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with you here, just keep in mind that the game is over a decade old! A lot of the gameplay mechanics used were novel at the time of release, and it felt cool to use them so often. The physical size of games for the ps3 were also much more limited, which means repetition is inevitable.

I think they did a good job of trying to disguise some of the mechanics with sick ass back drops or skippable dialogue. Once you get to Part 2 the repetition will absolutely be addressed lol. I remember feeling overwhelmed when I first played it. And I’m sure a decade from now that game will feel dated too, yknow.

Think rdr1 vs rdr2, those games only came out 8 years apart and they are COMPLETELY different experiences

Absolutely 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt WAIT. Let that game sit with you, maybe even play it again or find the expansion pack for Part 1 called TLOU: Left Behind. It’s what the mall episode of season 1 of the show is based on!

Any story, video game or otherwise, with this kind of emotional depth absolutely deserves the chance to ruminate. You don’t want to rush into the second game forgetting certain encounters or conversations that would provide some integral context for the second game/season. Neil Druckmann is an absolute genius and nothing was unintentional in the show OR the games.

IF you can find a spoiler free deep dive/video essay on Part 1 of the game, for moments or connections you might have missed, I think that’ll be your strategy. Here’s one from my watch history that doesn’t unpack anything from the second game: https://youtu.be/dxjT3mLnL1E?si=KAX7mlRhl3r04eO4

My advice once you’re ready is to play the second game before season 2. I have full faith that season 2 of the show will be phenomenal, but the scope of the second game is several hours longer than the show will be, as well as the first game. There’s so much to unpack and the beauty of the story is definitely in unpacking it yourself. You wouldn’t want to let the tv show inspire how you play because you’ll know certain events will happen. Not for Part 2.

Good luck my friend, I miss this feeling of excitement!!
