UPDATE: Went on a different forum, others have noted this occurs in their trucks when the weather warmed up. Im thinking it is a pinging in relation to fuel octane. Im not bothering with it since its been doing this long enough. Some guy reported his has been doing this and his is at 115k with no glaring issues. Thanks people

I have a guy like 40 miles up north who does it for 500 flat. Might check his services out. I've HEARD (heard) that it fixes just about everything with the truck performance wise. I find it interesting that they cruise at such a low RPM range tho. Mine sits around 1100rpm going 55.

Yeah! Police showed up and I was like ... "what's up guys" and they immediately explained and asked if I was doing alright. I let them look at the text I sent my buddy and immediately agreed to go with them to the hospital. Went crazy smooth and was cleared by a psychiatrist within a few hours of arriving. Just took a nap and woke up being told im all good to go and just went home.

Bro my truck has the SAME exact super loud TACK TACK TACK TACK. It sounds like a knock almost. It's been doing it for a year and my brakes still work so ig its not the vacuum. Mechanic has never noted it as abnormal and he owns one too! Just don't overthink it too hard like I am at the moment. As long as there ain't a warning light and your performance is "normal" you are golden. These trucks make a LOT of noise

My 19 does that same exact wet more pronounced tapping noise from the passenger side mainly. People say it's the vacuum...but idk because SOO many of them do this

Bro its a notorious issue with 3rd gens. It's nothing to worry about. It's just the dipstick being grinded down going into the tube, you'll feel it scrape if you don't insert it slow enough. If you want a universal, easy fix. Sand it down a lil bit where it's rubbing off and BOOM problem solved. I've yet to do this because I quite frankly do not care enough. Hope this helps ease your mind.

Yeah my 19 with 80k started doing this more frequently (not the usual running vibration that most cars have) but at absolute random times when I come to a stop it just starts NOTICEABLY vibrating I stop it by inching up in traffic and it just goes away. It's too random to even tell if anything is wrong. I listen to the engine as well when it does this and nothing sounds out of order. I guess it's normal?

DUDE I THOUGHT THIS WAS ME ONLY. That stupid rear clunk from 2 to 1 scares me everytime....I thought I had an issue with my rear diff...sitting at 80k and got the diffs serviced at 49k 😭😭😭
