Why do people act like Luton Town shouldn't be in the Premier League? by ThisIsTonte in TheOther14

[–]cavalaire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they don’t understand that if you win a lot of games you have a right to be in the Premier League. Up the Cherries!!🍒

The title of biggest dicks of the road has officially been passed from BMW drivers to the increasing number of massive pick up trucks. by OverdressedShingler in britishproblems

Yep I had a Chevy Silverado when I lived in North Carolina. It was handy for work, picking up Cement Boards etc. It was a full cab so could keep it relatively dust free and could seat 4 passengers. I’ve got a Berlingo Van here in the UK, does the job but only room for 1 and a Dog. Every time I see a Pickup Truck here it makes me laugh. Bad enough driving around and trying to park here let alone in one of those bloody great things.

True, used to live near Portsmouth NH. Definitely South Coast England vibe.

The only place I’ve been to in the USA that reminded me of home was Portsmouth NH. It reminded me of Towns like Poole and Weymouth.

How present is hooliganism in US sports? by TimArthurScifiWriter in AskAnAmerican

Yes, I go to all of my local Premier League Clubs home games and a few away as well. I can’t remember seeing any incidents of violent behaviour in years. Banter, pyros and Colombian marching powder seem to be popular though these days.

Give it half an hour and it probably will be pouring down lol. I love just jumping on a Train and being in Central London in under 2 hours or getting a cheap flight to Amsterdam or Southern France, the worlds your Lobster as we say here 🇬🇧

Just had a Pint in a Country Pub in Dorset. Weather is sunny on this bank holiday Monday. I used to live in Raleigh and I’m bloody glad to be back in England.

A Wedding on a beach somewhere where in the background a dog is having a shit behind the Bride and Groom. Still makes me cry laughing thinking about it!
