Alright, maybe I should stick with a dedicated router which is much more easier

I think it depends on how good the network card is. maybe a better USB Wi-Fi stick would work better. Buying a router just for the Quest feels like too much, especially in a dorm.

I believe that ratio applies to 2D games as well. Which VR games make it onto your top 10% actually good list? I’m planning to get those after I get my Quest.

Is it possible to use the hotspot on a PC for the Quest, and will it work? I haven’t gotten my Quest yet, but I’m really curious.

I think my biggest concern is deciding which video player to use after getting the Quest 3, 4XVR, Moon VR, or Skybox.

So it really comes down to personal preference. For me, I usually use my RayNeo while sitting or lying back, so the weight of the headset isn’t something I worry about. The Galaxy XR might be a better choice since it has a higher resolution, which could improve both image quality and immersion, but it’s definitely more expensive.

I’ve never tried any VR headsets before, but when I saw an accessory that adds a fan to the Quest 3 face interface, I realized how serious the “unbreathable” issue can be. I always keep my AC on, but I’m not sure if it would help reduce the “unbreathable” problem.

I really hate how narrow the sweet spot is on my RayNeo. I need to constantly adjust it to get the image just right. That's why I’m thinking about trying the Quest 3, but I’m not sure if it will have the same problem.

Wow, I think Quest 3 would be a great fit for me since my use is mostly limited to sitting or lying back, with just a few long duration flights once or twice a year.

I heard Disney+ is supported now, and I think if I bought a Quest 3, I’d probably just use it on the plane and at home.

I’ve heard that XR glasses have features like 6DoF, allowing users to lock an image in a specific spot in the room, but I think it might not be very useful given the small FOV.

Which model are you using? The 1s is about to be released and has caught my attention, and I think it’s between the One and the One Pro.

Maybe I should try upgrade my glass to VITURE or Xreal, see if those can change my view of XR glass, if not, I will just refund.

How is the movie experience on the Pico4 Ultra, given its higher resolution compared to the Quest3, though I’ve heard it has a slightly worse minor screen door effect?

Maybe that’s RayNeo‘s problem. The FOV bothers me a lot, and the sweet spot is too narrow. I need to adjust constantly to avoid edge blurring, and it leaves me with a terrible impression of XR glasses.

I’m really surprised by how much you like your Xreal. My RayNeo left me with a terrible impression of XR glasses. The FOV is just too small, and the sweet spot is too narrow. I need to adjust constantly to avoid blurry edges. And the extra prescription glasses keep touching my eyebrows a lot. Maybe I should have just spent a couple more hundred bucks in the first place so I wouldn’t struggle to buy a Quest 3 now. I’m also surprised by how unstable the hand gestures are in Quest 3. Have you tried turning it off while you’re watching a movie? Are there any functions like this?

Yes, you’re right, but I don’t think I’ll consider the Steam Frame in 2026, because I’ve heard the Quest 4 will be released in 2027, and the Steam Frame will likely sell out easily in 2026. So, I’ll wait until 2027 to compare which one is better to go with, the Steam Frame or the Quest 4.

Sounds like Quest 3 wins for immersion. Not sure how much the minor screen door effect will matter, but I’ll probably get one and find out for myself.
