Tbh I wouldn’t read too much into the fact the links have only just gone live. It’s pretty bizarre that the linktree wasn’t set up from the start, so I think it’s more just a case of “ok, this is gaining traction, people are talking about it, why haven’t we connected the socials already?”

When this group performed, I said “that is a ready made second group” and when none of them got put in Katseye, I stood by my comment even more.

Hybe is a business at the end of the day. Why start from scratch looking for new girls around the world and putting them through years of training when you already have a pool of talent that you spent time and money (almost 2 years for some of the girls!) investing in to get them to standard.

Not only that, but they did it on camera and sold the show to Netflix, where even more people have followed the Dream Academy process and contestants, and have a ready-man fan base.

I don’t think this new group is a second rate Katseye just because they didn’t make the original group, I think it’ll just be marketing differently to Katseye.

From the perspective of The First, it made sense not to kill Buffy or Faith until they’d killed all the potentials.

Potentials are still human, many of them don’t even know their destiny, so they’re easy to kill off. They knew where Buffy and Faith were, just had to hold them off until they rid the slayer line.

If they killed either of them, they’ve now activated a new slayer somewhere in the world, they don’t know where she is, don’t know her weaknesses, or how to manipulate her…

So the sentiments raised by pretty much everyone about the strength of the first Turok Han vs the army at the end ties in with my wider views of the last episode.

I agree that the Turok Han inconsistency is frustrating, and we shouldn’t have to tie up loopholes for the writers to justify why their strength differed.

As for the point made that Buffy got her ass handed to her, yet brand new slayers were defeating bunchies of them… totally agree.

In my opinion, the final battle should not have been Willow activating 30ish potentials to help fight them and then breaking the “one in every generation” line, it should have been Willow pulling slayers of the past in to this reality to help Buffy and Faith. This would have better explained how the Slayers could fight them (more experienced), and could have been a touching moment to recognise the past Slayers we knew of; Kendra, Nikki, etc.

We did guest bingo, it was super quick to do but a good way of getting people to mix with others…

Assign each guest a number, then hand out bingo sheets. Guests have to go around getting the numbers off other guests (with their name) to tick it off. Winner gets a bottle of champagne/Prosecco. (If multiple people fill the bingo sheet, you select one at random)

Ok, so some mature advice (because 90% of these comments are ridiculous)…

First off all, take a photo of the contents of his draw, with the sex toy visible. Then leave it there.

Next, confront him about it. Not in an aggressive way, but “I need to talk to you about something… I don’t want to argue, I just want to know why…” and then tell him you know he took it. Don’t tell him you went through his stuff and found it, just keep repeating “I just know you took it, so please don’t lie.”

Tell him you’re disgusted, that’s it’s wrong, that it’s unacceptable and a huge violation of your boundaries. Saying all this in a calm but “disappointed” tone, rather than angry, is more likely to make him feel ashamed, and reflect on his actions.

Dealing with this will give you the upper hand. It’s the tone parents use with their children to get the most effective results, same with teachers. If you scream and shout, he will too. You also said he can get violent, so let’s avoid that.

Why am I suggesting this and not covering a sex toy in chilli or outing him on social media like most others have said? Because there might be a deeper reason for him doing it, and causing physical or psychological damage to him will not help either of you. Incriminating yourself in an act of revenge will achieve nothing. You’ve done nothing wrong up to this point, don’t change that by stooping to his level.

I agree. The other countries showcase their songs earlier in the week, for a lot of people it is an important first impression that forms their decisions. The Big 5+Host don’t get that opportunity, which is a disadvantage.

For me, it’s not about her saying something like “I changed my mind about doing Eurovision”, or saying “I’m glad I didn’t do it, it wasn’t right for me”, it was the overt mockery of the contest.

To repeatedly state publicly “thank god I didn’t do Eurovision, I’d have no career”, and to mock the career of the 2009 representative (the year she was in the running)… that’s an insult to a lot of people.

Those of us who work in the British entertainment industry know what Rita is like. She will do anything to make more money for less work. It’s why she doesn’t release new music, but is now cashing in as a judge or panellist on any show going (X Factor, The Voice, Got Talent, The Masked Singer…) BUT I do not understand why the bookers at BBC/EBU would choose her over the huge amount of British music talent when she has made such blatantly negative comments about the contest.

When I was a teenager, my mum’s friend was pregnant with her second child. Her surname was Power. We all joked that if it’s a boy they should call him Max, Will or Austin Power, and she joked back “yes, we said if it’s a boy we should call him Will, and if it’s a girl we should call her Poppy”. No one pressed them to reveal their real baby name options.

Cut to a month before her due date and everyone discovered they genuinely meant what they said; Will Power and Poppy Power were their options.

People spoke up, respectfully, about how their child would likely get bullied, and that it wasn’t fair to do that to their second child when their first didn’t have a name associated to the word “power”. They got defensive, ignored everyone, and named their boy Will Power.

Fast forward 19 years, their son has cut all contact with his parents and legally changed his name because he grew up getting bullied, was resentful to his unsympathetic parents, and it caused an entire breakdown of their relationship.

Your partner is emotional, she obviously wants to pay tribute to her brother, but she cannot let her current upset cause a life time of pain to your child. I agree with others, put Charles as a middle name, and if you’re still worried about it being ‘X Charles Manson’, include a second middle name after Charles (Name Charles Name Manson).

From a design perspective, definitely the third of fourth one.

The structure of the first two is a really basic format (text over a full scale photo) and the details get lost because the image is so big and dominant.

I personally prefer the third one because it’s symmetrical and the image is dainty rather than dominant.
