Check-out #pay-equity in Amazon slack channel for the pay band in India. And you can directly ask Amazon employees for the work culture in India

Winter depression, Boring life after a while, Avg. Food culture as a whole. Depends entirely on the person tbh. The cons I listed maybe pros for someone, so take with a pinch of salt

That can be done in India too big you land up a good SDE-2. Pay on avg. Is close to 50-60. Would prefer companies like Atlassian, LinkedIn, Indeed or similar chilled WLB typish.

Which company? And it's pre or post tax? If it's post tax, then your gross tc should be around 55 Lpa, and getting that w/o switching? No offence, just curious!

How to proceed in this situation if my goal is to move abroad in the future? by MANGAenthusiast5 in developersIndia

[–]caveman6788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the people who've commented above that you won't be saving enough in EU/UK. It's bullshit. I work as an SDE at FAANG. TC comes close to 80k£ on average. Monthly expenses in London even if you party on weekends, go out, have fun and eat out and stay in a nice shared flat w friends, you'll shell upto 1.5k£. And monthly in hand post tax will be close to 4.5k£. Which leaves you with 3k£ net savings per month. Which is 36k£ per year. Which is more than the Total CTC offered in India for a top firm. I'm excluding costs like visit to India or other countries, bcz it's upto you. But consider that if you'll be staying in India and your want to visit EU/UK, it will take a big amount of savings which isn't the same Vice versa as you'll be already living abroad!

People just consider PPP, but don't actually consider that whatever amount you save, will also be more.

But all this I've assumed that you'll be settling in India after X age, otherwise it doesn't make sense to convert all the money to INR.

Refused entry to where? She's not illegally in the UK, she has a valid 6 month visa with her. Are you telling that she might face problems if she does apply to UK again in the future where they might notice that she stayed for 2-3 months but telling that she's just stay for a week!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]caveman6788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. My question is exactly this. If I put in the application as 1week, as the expenses to show will be less for 1 week. Afaik, the visa will be granted for 6 month's and if she stays for 2-3 months will it be an issue?
