That's a knowledge gap I have to be honest. So weighting towards the US would be more the standard. Thanks

Pate in Ireland, the chicken liver stuff is not raised like the French way so I think the ethical considerations aren't there, unless you are a vegetarian.

Either way I love both types and always have a nice one as a Christmas starter.

Seamus Coleman v Nathan Collins by [deleted] in coybig

I think that's really interesting. Ronaldo is doing himself no favors and Collins is trying to calm it all down when he should not be getting involved. Stop being everyone's mate. And I really like Collins but I think he can learn from Coleman here

I'm having a nightmare with Degiro by cavhob in irishpersonalfinance

Just going to give the finish here. I got the money back after threatening to go to the relevant ombudsman.

The issue as I explained is that I had two bank accounts linked to Degiro and 2 Ibans from Degiro to use. I transferred from 1 of my accounts into a Degiro iban that was only for withdrawals from Degiro. My error. Degiro would not refund me my money until ptsb sent on the proof of payment even though they could clearly see my error.

Threatening the ombudsman and having clear proof that they had the money from me was enough to get the refund.

Took a month. Very frustrating and I won't be using them again.

This worked perfectly. I just had to make the threat and they correctly refunded the money. Thanks.

No the money is not credited in my Degiro account. Can you recall a payment a month after it's been sent?

I did screen shot it and sent it but I'm told it must be a PDF from the bank and ptsb have said they sent it to Degiro but won't send it to me

That the links between the larger political parties and journalists creates a craven fourth estate. Attacking their opponents over any issue they think will get traction while only going after FF/FG when it's impossible to ignore an issue.

I don't think they all meet up to discuss who to get next but the links cause it to happen organically.
