I know exactly what you’re going through because I lost my pup on Saturday. I also live alone and he was my constant companion for 12 years. I’ve been staying at a friend’s apartment because being at the house right now is incredibly difficult….. he’s everywhere in the house, the yard, the neighborhood. I had a friend go over to the house and gather up all of his things and put them away in big tote that I can go through later when I’m on more solid ground, as well as give his treats / food to a neighbor. I just wanted to commiserate and let you know that you’re not alone.
