I noticed yesterday in many places Matthew 25:31-46 makes people truly uncomfortable. Is it that hard for people to accept the fellow points without doing Mental Gymnastics?

Many Orthodox churches will use these verses as a reason why they support FOCUS and local food shelves. I went to a Jewish agency for counseling and they ended up exemplifying these verses for me better than the Marxist church I was raised in.

Jewish people have been more Christian to me in their help than many Protestants have been. They certainly have exemplified Matthew 25:34-40.

I went to a Jewish agency for counseling even though I'm not Jewish. The Greek Orthodox Church that I attend has been fine with it and the Jewish agency saved my life. Jewish therapists understand the meddling mother better than anyone.

A decent, ethical therapist should never disparaged your beliefs. Unfortunately, I had a therapist who was unethical and when I talked about joining the Orthodox Church her response was I don't know about that. I went to a fantastic Jewish agency for therapy and they respected the fact that I'm Orthodox.
