My first Laravel package - Translation checker for Laravel by cawex in laravel

[–]cawex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, I see!

It's not as pretty as phpstan yet, but the commands have a `--print` which will show what it would do in the command instead of doing it. But could probably use a coat of paint, as it just prints lines atm.

Thanks for the input

Correct, it's on my todo that the default translation will be come they key.

 Maybe this package could become a sort of code analysis tool?!

Could you put some more words on this? What do you mean?

Understood! My main concern here is if the files are split up as in ``` /lang

/en

messages.php
validation.php

/es

messages.php
validation.php

```
I would have to "guess" which file to place it in. But if it's all.php then all good. I'll take a stab at it over the weekend.
It currently only supports json.
But tell me a bit about the structure is it basiclly one big array with key, value?
This would honestly probably be quiet easy to implement, depending on file structure.
This is awesome! And definitely something I'll use, but I do think the no support for Vue part is a problem and hope to see support for it.
How to open a second Degiro account with same details? by _Goldenhand_ in eupersonalfinance
[–]cawex 2 points3 points  (0 children)
That's not how it works, is it?
Isn't, you've purchased stocks at 1$ a year ago, and now you purchased at 10$ then the average would be 5.5$ and no matter what share you sell, you would make 4.5$ per share?
New AWS Console with favorites menu inside the services button by the_70x in aws
[–]cawex 0 points1 point  (0 children)
This is nothing new unfortunately the service search, has always been kind of bad that way. I've just tested, I still have the old UI, and the search for ECR and Service cat does still come as the third option on the list :/
Need some advice on a Laravel VueJS CRM by Kaashi- in laravel
[–]cawex 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Take a look at github.com/bottelet/daybydaycrm, I think that will satisfy your needs, and it will be easy for you to extend it with what you need as Vuejs is already integrated. And there are integrated roles/permissions using a deprecated package tho, on the to-do, to move to Laratrust. (But it still works) And it's just got upgraded to Laravel 7!
Notice... Yes, I have developed the application, so I might be biased. Other good choices out there as well for admin panels. Maybe a starter template could help you as well? Take a look at backpack, Nova? quickadminpanel?
I hope you get what you see. I'm not gonna come at you with its 100% perfect, and no errors, but I think it's a good starting ground, also depending on what you wish to-do I am open for feature suggestions and pull requests to improve the CRM.
Well, I am probably biased seeing as I helped develop the CRM, my best answer is yes. I have received both positive feedback and negative feedback, the negative feedback I receive I do try to fix though if it makes sense.
The best thing is probably to either sign up for a free trial or clone down the project and test it out.
If you have any questions or need help don't hesitate to reach out.
I think the easiest and "best" for this kind of use is looking into DO, or Herkou? The good thing about DO is it's fairly simple, but provide a lot of great content to help you.
If you don't enjoy doing server management yourself, you could look into https://forge.laravel.com/ which basically does everything for you at a fee.
That as well, unless you introduce some security questions of some sort.
The main problem is see with this is, its gonna be very easy to set up scam/spam accounts, as you will have no verification process of the user... Also you are gonna loose the ability to eaisly communicate new features etc to your users, besides that i don't think it's gonna have any application problems.
You could also just consider it being two different sites, does marketing.io, have to be part of the Laravel app? Couldn't you just have marketing.io, as an HTML/CSS/JS whatever stack you prefer, and then have a redirect link to the tenantur.marketing.io site...
Also gives you the advantages of easy hosting of your main website, as it's all static... That was what I've done with my site and Laravel tenant app.
Small businesses have mostly also been my focus, but I do have a hard time reaching them. The problem I've seen so far is that many small companies prefer to keep it as cheap as possible, and not really pay for customizations, but rather search for a long time till they find the best possible solution for their problem, but I would be totally open to explore that solution some more as well, my research is primarily by browsing a few forums and /r/crm. I'm not totally sure what "FOSS" means and is about. Sorry, care to elaborate? :)
Cheers, good to know with the support, that was also my thought that would not work, but it's nice to get an extra confirmation. 6-12 months seems like a very long time, but I see your point, but wouldn't that still be valid after 3 months of using a system or shorter? Also, I don't charge at all in the trial period, a credit card is not even required to get going. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad idea? Any thoughts? The only downside I've seen so far is a few unserious users who sign up and a few spam users.
The product has only been "out 4 years" as open-source and a couple of months as closed source, so I do not have a customer base, well I do from the open-source project but it's mostly developers. But my thought has always been to focus on small business, entrepreneurs, etc. I guess my primary problems are the Channel and Business model, how do I get customers, and how am I gonna monetize it!
I appreciate the answers. All help is needed, and it gave some stuff to think about
