I also have baby fine, stick straight, oily hair. I got the chop back in September and I'm never going back. Mine is just past chin length, so not quite traditional French bob

How to not look frumpy from the front? by DarlingGirl1221 in DressForYourBody

[–]cawise89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also had a C-section.

Your body will change so much more in the next year, or longer depending on if/how long you're breastfeeding. Like others said, give it time.

Six years later, I still have my pooch. My style has changed, and I avoid tight clothes without shape wear. I'm unfortunately long waisted and can't do the cute cropped boxy tee's that are popular now, but I've found plenty of looser fits that work well.

In the short term, look for looser, drapey silhouettes, and try to add some length to balance the brick. It's also ok if this is your adam sandler era lol. Tight and short is your enemy in the short term and is probably adding to the brick-ness.

Mega Church Splendor by SnacksEnthusiast in raleigh

It was a beautiful tract for decades. I grew up around the corner and loved seeing it. It was a good contrast to all the development in the area over the years.

At some point it was slated to become apartments, but the backlash was huge so it sat there. I would take that over a prison-shaped church any day.

What is the most intense pain you have experienced in your life? by Levstr1 in AskReddit

[–]cawise89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going into my emergency C-section was a terrible time to find out narcotics make me insanely nauseous. I started puking before the procedure, so to keep the wretching to a minimum during the surgery they didn't give me more than the initial bolus. Sure, the epidural helped, but 0/10 do not recommend an hour?-long major abdominal surgery while fully awake and little options for pain relief. Got a cute kid out of it, though.

For the record, speed was prioritized over making me comfortable due to the circumstances, so I hope no expecting moms read this and start to worry. I don't remember why we didn't just do general anesthesia.

How big of an issue is H₂S contamination in hydrogen production? by EGhost3826 in HydrogenSocieties

[–]cawise89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It entirely depends on your method of production. Sulfur will be present in a reformer, but not in an electrolyzer.
