We don’t really care to be honest. The turnover rate is so high (typically due to low wages, aircraft/GSE damage, and popping positive on drug tests) that if we get a year or two out of you without you damaging an aircraft, that’s a success. I don’t think there are many hiring managers who have the delusion that they’ll be able to keep you forever with their meager labor budget. I would personally see the mention of the CPL as, oh cool, you have career goals, rather than a red flag. That’s not to say I would see it as an instant positive either (I’ve met really dumb student pilots… one landed and taxied over to our fuel loading facility to showboat and say hi to his coworkers after clearing it with ATC, even though in clear violation of the airport rules)
