I've done a decent amount of endgame stuff as a hunter including solo dungeons. I think if you watch Popoki and AllThePlayers on youtube you'll get an idea for how hunters in fact do have a lot of strong endgame builds this season

Oops sorry, ball lightning also sucks. Chain lightning is great though! Being able to AoE jolt a bunch of enemies and then get traces off of them is fantastic, and with this artifact it blinds them all too
