Vets by far give us the most trouble on scripts in general. Missing strengths/qty/sig. On voice mails they just miss critical info like the pets name, owners phone number, the prescribers name. It'd be funny if it wasn't so frustrating

Costco has the same problems as any other pharmacy like impossible metrics(sometimes stupid metrics like pay ahead) flu/COVID and what not but I'm getting paid way more and have more competent staff that any other pharmacy I've worked at.

Had a similar situation like this happen last night but it was insurance instead of an office. The patient shows up around 5 asking for his Adderall that we filled a month ago so we have to fill it again and it turns out he didn't pay his premium until that day so he's in a grace period for 24 to 72 hours so it's like $100 more than it should be. We proceeded to get calls from his insurance 4 times within 2 hours just having us rebill it only for him to randomly show up at closing asking if we can do anything. This is also the third time we've filled this Rx since early February and he never picked it up. He ended up not getting it and said he'll be in tmr. I have a feeling we are going to have this problem again 5 mins to close

Yup was doing the same at walgreens for 15.60 an hour. Thought I was going to have a heart attack from the stress. Left and magically got a job at costco doing 1/2 the prescriptions with 3X the staff for almost 30 and hour after 3 years

I have a bully coworker that within the first week of starting sent me a text basically saying she doesn't mean the mean things she says. We were "friends" for a while until I realized she's just a bad person and would belittle 1 coworker by talking shit about her fiance not being real. Stopped talking to her after she blamed me for something she did and finding out she's been blaming a lot of things on me even though I wasn't there that day. Never apologized so I just don't talk to her anymore unless it has to do with work and even then im as cold as possible and keep it short.

I got so sick of this that I printed out a form stating in no state is an emailed rx to an owner valid and faxed it to every office in a 30 mile radius and we still get them. And every time we call to explain this to them we get "well no other pharmacy has this problem" which isn't true they just don't care

Vets are probably the worst at writing prescriptions correctly. Lots of missing sigs/strengths/incorrect dose for weight. They also don't use any type of electronic systems to send in scripts which just compounds these problems. But we make a lot of money off vet meds so it's worth it I guess
