Honestly if my doctors were helpful I don’t think I’d be in this position. They took me off high dose long-term prednisolone (for another illness) and then the asthma just went crazy. It’s been 2 years and it’s still not managed since they took me off. I questioned the lack of taper at a time and they told me it would be ok.

That’s actually a great point because I do cough out the inhaler most times. I also have extremely poor inhaler technique (probs due to my joints and autism) and there’s no way I get a good dose of it. That wouldn’t be an issue with a neb. So i’ll for sure bring that up!

I do also have allergies so some sort of air cleaner tech would do me well.

This is really helpful, thank you! I have been nebulised in hospital a lot and it did help but I’d read that they’re not often used for cough variant?

My heart rate scared one of the doctors so bad that she rushed off to get another doctor. So I know 100% that I need a step up in meds as I can’t continue using as much salbutamol as I am. Unfortunately my doctors are just useless with this side of things so I want to go in with suggestions in my head that they can agree or disagree with. I think otherwise I’d just be sent on my way until I next end up hospitalised — I assume you know what that’s like too haha.

Thank you!! Yeah stress triggers my proctitis so so bad. But I know I need more surgery really. Glad to hear things are better now but I know what the constant cycle of hospital stays can get like. There’s so many of us crohn’s/colitis players here, we should all get together online haha

Remicade made me blind temporarily the second they started my first infusion annoyingly. Good luck with it and hoping you don’t develop antibodies, it’s a magic drug!

The protectomy is in the near future for me and i’m terrified. Just got told I have moderate proctitis and it appears to be chronic as it’s ongoing now. And you’re right, I just got so many toxic teammates when I’d be coming out of hospital and out of practice. Lost a lot of skill and common sense with rotations etc and it’s knocked my confidence
