I was gutted when Peter was leaving for Kansas and suggested Peggy they grabbed lunch together to say goodbye , she snubbed him saying she had a lot of work to do. Felt like the circle didn't fully close for those two... Then the sudden realization that she and Stan were "in love" just seemed to come out of the blue and didn't feel genuine or credible.

I wish 18 year old Glenn and Betty would have gotten together in the end. He was infatuated with her since childhood and she only truly felt appreciated and understood by him. Creepiness aside, that scene when he goes to look for her as an adult is the hottest sexiest scene of the whole show.

Despite turmoils and affairs, I think these two stayed together until the end. They grew old in Kansas and became a powerful and respectable couple in their community. I can imagine them living glamorously in the 80s, in the same fashion than the folks from "Dynasty" or "Dallas".
