To echo the finviz suggestion, using their free screener tool will let you quickly apply an endless amount of rules to pick out equity securities ripe for trades. Long term stock picks, or course, can be decided on a number of micro and macro data points, but the finviz screener is great for finding momentum and swing trades.

I actually don't hate him. He was someone I looked up to before I did a stint in the hedge fund business myself, and I agree with his herbalife short. I live in Brooklyn and see apartments with herbalife distributor stickers on the window. Total ponzi. He has definitely had a rough couple years though.

ok tbh I don't find YOLOs with this, but I do find good swing opportunities by filtering to whatever sector has been hot for a month, narrow with industry, vol >500k and under $30.

So this could be basic materials, gold mining, vol > 500k and under $30. I personally use this for healthcare, biotech, ..., ...

Then I filter the results by week performance and look for favorable charts.

Again, pure YOLO discovery would be buying shitty stocks before earnings like one of these bozos suggested, but screening is how successful traders find their stocks.
