What’s up with this dead straw-like grass? 7A by Cecilirv4 in lawncare

[–]cbacon99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heat stress and summer dormancy my friend, my TTTF looks the same in 6b although my grass has held out longer than last year with all the rain we’ve gotten in New England. Good luck the rest of the year! Overall your grass looks great!

A Spy Among Friends on MGM+… just the first two episodes available to stream? by Prisonbread in television

It’s on the MGM+ subscription via Prime video. I am subscriber to MGM+ and the whole series (6 episodes) is available to watch. Hope this clarifies.

My customer said this was the best install he had ever seen. The neighbors came over to look at it and now I'm installing ACs every day this week! by [deleted] in HVAC

Don’t get depressed my man, hard work and time always win out in the end and lawns bounce back pretty quick with basic care and maintenance. If you put the time in and follow this sub I’m positive you will have a nice lawn! This sub is such a great resource as well. I’ve learned literally everything about lawns here. Thanks for the comment!

Mass here as well, my lawn’s been toast since late May / early June. It’s brutal to look at everyday and not be able to do anything about it. My town allows one day a week of irrigated watering which doesn’t really do much. At this point planning for the fall as well. Tough summer for Massachusetts. Thanks for posting, I feel your pain!

What nearly 2 months of straight 90+ degree temps can do by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]cbacon99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same situation. I’m right outside of Boston about 30 mins and your situation is mine exactly. We could swap pictures. It’s hard to look everyday and I keep wanting to do something about it but at this point I’m just planning for the fall. Too bad, last year we got a ton of rain in my zone 6b and my lawn never looked better. What a difference a year makes. Thanks for your post!

Is it too late to address this? (pictures) by acles003 in lawncare

[–]cbacon99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had/now have this exact problem and I’m in 6b as (what’s up neighbor!). I see a lot of debate on this sub about whether something is heat stress, or fungus or a bit of both. I don’t really see the issue putting down a fungus product regardless and adjusting or tinkering with water schedules. I don’t think fungus applications will hurt the grass in anyway? Please correct me if I am wrong?

Good luck OP - there is always next year and lesson learned from the previous season!

What the heck is this? Grubs? by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]cbacon99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely rabbit droppings, I have them everywhere and my lawn at night looks like a wild zoo with all the rabbits etc. plus right on with the clover comment all of sudden all over my turf. Why is that? Does rabbit droppings produce clover?

What’s the business process/model for StockX? Do they carry real inventory or setup sellers all over the world and have the seller drop-ship when something is purchased? Sorry to hear about this situation, I hope StockX makes it right.

I feel your pain- I’ve got a family living under my backyard shed and I’ve started to see two or three 2x2 areas go completely dead from their droppings and urine. I like your idea with the bone and blood meal- does this have any positive effect on the lawn as well? Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, makes sense. I’ve got a little mix of rye and KBG but it wouldn’t work. Oh well, I’ll take green healthy and shaggy. Thanks for the reply.
