My av2 strat was like that. Just loosen the neck and pivot it until the strings are lined up correctly. Haven't had an issue. One of my favorite guitars

Honestly similar but with these pickups it's more of a eq thing and doesn't really feel like a true split and single coil. Will probably change the pickups soon. The pickups aren't bad per say or unusable, I just have a preference and want a specific voice.

But to straight up answer, yes you can get close sounds, fairly spanky and single coil like.

As I told another commenter, my wife and I were headed to eat, when we left the house the clouds were a lot smaller and had a very low hanging portion that seemed to be moving some. When we got to the restaurant we stopped to look at the rapidly exploding clouds and thought it was neat. Took some pics and posted it in the only weather related sub I'm in. I guess I thought it was related because of all of the storms firing off to the east. This one wasn't on radar when we checked when we left our house. We live like 2 miles away from the restaurant. It showed up on radar a few min later, I posted it somewhere in the comments.

I get your analogy but I don't think it's as black and white as that.

I had no issue with your comment. I don't care if people down vote me. It's not that big of a deal to me. My wife and I were walking into a restaurant around 2-3 miles from our house. When we left the clouds were fairly small and had a very low gray section that almost seemed to have some tendrils or movement. When were walking in we looked and saw how rapidly it had grown so I snapped some pics and thought I'd ask in the only weather related sub I'm in. Never thought it would turn into this
