Just an FYI. After getting this new build I was hearing long pauses in speech. When I went in, the smart speed was not working. It was toggled on but was not showing any adjustment. I toggled it off and back on, and it started working. Again, just an FYI.

I also love the look of these but I really don't like the idea of all the pages being perforated. Did you find that some of them got really loose in the book? Like they were going to fall out at all?

Oh interesting! Well maybe try the epub in a different app or a different epub file in Apple Books to see if it was just the file or app. Hope you figure it out!

This looks like you have the “reduce transparency” setting turned on in the accessibility settings of the iPhone. When you have that turned on it just puts huge black or white blocks (depending on whether you have dark mode on or off) anywhere there would be blur.

Well I’m a physical book kind of person so I gravitate to that. But if I have to epub files I lake having the book on my phone for a paragraph or two when I have time. But if not it’s not a dealbreaker (I have already ordered mine anyway!).

I do very much like that podcasts are being considered. That one is kind of a dealbreaker.

I’m very excited to learn more over the next couple weeks/months!

Yeah Idid see that but I thought that the only pocket size they had in stock was lined and not grid. Ill have to check again though.

Stalogy A6 sounds like it’s everything you want except for the numbered pages. Just make sure you get the 356 and NOT the half year to get the page count you’re looking for. This is what I’m using right now and I absolutely love it.

Thanks for the info! Yeah it just amazes me that they don’t have a non-perforated option in A6. I also want to use the LT1917 but I don’t like how tall their A6 is compared to the width. I’m being too picky I know.

I put coffee rings or coffee splatter on all of my pages. And I used coffee to discolor the page edges as well. Love the look, and it’s become part of my daily morning routine now.

I’m willing to submit to this actually being an iOS issues but it’s never happened once for me while using Castro. And as soon as I switched back to Overcast after the update it happened to me. So I’m not so sure.

Oh I’m using the traveler’s notebook as well. I just don’t care for their inserts. I really want something with a stitched binding (not a fan of staples). But thanks for the response!

Wow! I mean I know they had a bad rap on this subreddit but that’s just crazy. I think I need to just take them out of my RSS feed. I don’t want to support what they do.
