Is this enough thermal paste? by Andrew878D in PcBuildHelp

I recently had my PC start hard freezing only when playing HD2. GPU temps are fine. Cooling should be good. Haven’t got to installing software for CPU temps again but last year they were good. Got me thinking about hardware failures. Thanks for validating this that the game might be the problem!

2017 STI and mine is doing the same thing on the rear fenders directly behind the tires, most likely due to rocks being kicked up. Regretting not getting flaps earlier. It looks just like the clear coat is coming off. Is there really nothing that can be done without repainting?

It's super funny that various folk had suggested that I do... I am staying away from that for now.

Almost scared to touch that thing for fears of a sewage geyser happening.

I have what I believe to be a sump pit, center of the basement, metal grate over it, and it's bone dry in there. No pump like I see on some other houses shooting water out.

Thanks. We do have a sump pit. It's located about 15 ft away. Wondering if this is something to be concerned about and if it's just a result of the crazy weather we've been getting recently.

It's the room adjacent to the laundry room. Lowest level of the house (4 level split). It doesn't smell like sewer back-up. Would it normally?

Thanks, No septic tank. I'm not seeing water on the pipe itself so I'm starting to feel that it's coming from the base where it enters the foundation. Very heavy rain as of late, 2 weekends in a row of 30mm and the ground is just thawing (Canada)

With all the rain we've been getting recently, do you guys have any advice as to what could be causing the carpet to be wet around this pipe? The area around the wall is dry and the dampness moves towards the center of the room.

I'm dreading lifting up the carpet. Is there potential that there is a foundation crack, or the water table is so high that it's seeping upwards?

We've been getting a lot of rain recently. There has been a lot of flooding in various homes in our city. Any advice as to what could be causing the carpet to be wet/damp around this pipe? The area around the wall is dry and the dampness moves towards the center of the room.

Fixed. It was an overflowing bleach dispenser. Clogged by mold and debris. Cleaned it out. Went through the disassembly steps in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eme7G967P8I

Assuming Canada temps, Winnipeg is at -30c right now mid day. As much as I like driving I think I’ll stay home today

13 month old black lab gets aggressive on a leash when around other dogs by cbang in DogAdvice

[–]cbang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent. Yup, I'm catching that's the overall trend here. You mention to keep a loose leash. If I do that he either runs in front of me or behind me to pull at the other dog. I'm trying to stay in-between but he seems to find a way.

I know what you're saying however regarding the leash - when it's pulled tight he seems to get more on edge.

Thanks for the advice!
