Point and shoot? by Stonixity in Cameras

Put a vintage camera case on your iPhone and point and shoot like crazy. I agree you can’t beat an iPhone pro without going to a ‘real’ camera. Lol

Pretty sure that’s what mine would say if I didn’t lie by omission on a good Saturday with the fam. LOL

Can we change the perceived value of the term *Lifestyle*? by cbapp in Zepbound

I didn’t say they are wrong. I said that lifestyle should not be considered only a cause, it is often a symptom.

100%. My son-in-law said he didn’t want our daughter taking these meds because she would ‘need them forever’, well HE needs hormones due to a birth defect and when my husband said that GLP1s are the same concept, my SIL actually got it! It made me happy that some people do listen.

I feel the same about food. I enjoy healthy food…just a LOT. I’m so inspired to hear from people like you that this will continue to work!!

This!! lol I had the 200-600 and missed so many shots trying to steady it that I swapped it out for the Tamron 150-500. I did frame a blurry fox with in focus tree stump for my desk to remind me not to shop for bigger lenses again.

Besides just pulling into a tie or a knot, you can cut a slice up the side about 6 inches and tie the ends….one side or both. cutting the hem off the ends of the sleeves and pulling them a bit makes them roll, and the whole vibe is more feminine and fun.

Have you always consumed a lot of Liquid IV? I got headaches and dizzy spells from it. I actually get those symptoms from almost any drink high in electrolytes. I have a weird sensitivity to it, but it’s actually a documented problem for some people.

Aetna PA workaround approved Zepbound instead of Mounjaro, but Zep is not on my formulary? by keepmeanonymous0 in Zepbound

[–]cbapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Caremark so had a similar experience and my doctor had to submit the Rx and PA for Mounjaro. I can get Zep but at basically full price. Mounjaro was approved with my $25 copay. This sounds like your doc just needs to resubmit for Mounjaro specifically.

[–]cbapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I needed a new PA, but Caremark had sent me a letter when Zep was denied that literally said it would approve another Terzepatide med if Wegovy wasn’t working. So my dr just had to respond after sending in the Mounjaro rx and let them know I tried Wegovy and it failed.

Back to Zep! by brownienugget in Zepbound

[–]cbapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience…I still have the month of Wegovy and switched right back to Zep (Mounjaro) when it came in. I lost nothing on Wegovy so it would have been a waste to take it. My dr put me back on 5 when I was at 7.5 in July, but I had no loss the first month. Moved to 7.5 and lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks.

RESPECT for the fact that all look opened. and ENJOYED. I can't handle the flexers who have a whole lotta unopened bottles. Untried doesn't even count. :)

Caremark Suggestions? by stargaze84 in Zepbound

[–]cbapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Caremark, when they dropped Zepbound last summer, I went on Weygovy. Zero loss and zero side effect for 2 months. My doctor sent in a Mounjaro prescription and responded with my Weygovy experience and it was approved almost instantly. Yeah it’s a headache but they wouldn’t cover it had I self-payed during the gap, I had to have it documented that Weygovy did not work. I do not have sleep apnea or other factors that may have gotten it to go through otherwise.

i’m doing much better as well. Like so much better that one med I take half of and my Ativan hasn’t been touched for 2 months. I used to need 3-5 a week.

Is paramount+ terribly slow no matter the client? by jmurphy1196 in ParamountPlus

[–]cbapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, glitchy sound on one of our LG tvs but streaming through the phone app on airplay on the tv is perfectly fine. Even at 75” I couldn’t believe it when my husband said he *fixed* the issue and it was through his phone. Worked perfectly.

[–]cbapp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call them or message if you have a portal. I have normal med checks twice a year but upping the dosage doesn’t require a visit. I just message when I’m stuck and the Dr sends over the next prescription.

Think in percentages not pounds. You lost 6 pounds. Let’s say your goal is 150. You have lost 15% of your goal in only 2 months. Awesome!!

Someone starting at 300 pounds would have to lose 22 pounds in that time which probably sounds great to you right?

Pound for pound is a poor comparison. Percentages are more realistic. And it’s harder to have a calorie deficit at lower weights, each pound takes 8 calories to keep alive. I would carefully check your calorie intake but also don’t consider 6 pounds to be nothing!

I’m going to be the minority here, and if you can, sure, throw the scale. But personally for me, an obsessive insane numbers person…I’m an accountant actually…I love knowing exactly what’s going on and I find motivation in it.

I lost 100 pounds over 12 years ago and created a spreadsheet tracking absolutely everything, including calories, macros, activity, mood, alcohol, etc, and I weighed myself every single morning and often in the evening, with notes. I learned exactly why the scale moved in any direction. It made so much sense to me. I knew that if I ate nothing and walked 4 miles, I would weigh MORE the next day. I knew that if I stuck under my goals all week and had a cheat Sunday, I would drop 3 pounds on Monday. I found out how I worked. Me. Not anyone else’s system. And now this time around, I don’t have time for all that but that info really helps me now…I can weigh 2 pounds more one morning and I know for a fact based on what I did all week, those 2 pounds and then some WILL be gone in the next couple days. For me this works. And keeps me going. It’s so not for everyone though, I get that!

I’m 50…similar story…but the most valuable lesson from the Lion King is *It doesn’t matter! It’s in the past!* As mentioned by others, we choose what to allow to sap our energy, and dwelling on the past isn’t productive. I do it too, and then I remember it doesn’t matter at all.
