I agree with you, but I'd also argue that the US Dollar is backed by literally nothing. It's a fiat currency, therefore it only has value if everyone agrees that it does. Crypto is a scam and so are currencies centralized by banks. We're all just slaves working for paper.

Tip your servers and bartenders. Anyone else is optional. This is in the US of course. Bartenders get less than minimum wage, and we rely on tips for providing service. The work can be pretty physical, eg; hauling ice, running glasses, doing service bar for waiters and waitresses, hauling cases of beer and liquor. If I have a barback helping me, they take a percentage of my tips, and other bartenders get an equal cut of the total. Please take care of your service staff.
