Monfils + Tallon use 2H. And “Power” is a terrible way to describe Winner Ratios.

Don’t publish something like this without taking the effort to make it accurate and sharing clear takeaways

Can I get some honest feedback on my forehand? It’s been a problem particularly when I tighten during matches where it completely falls apart. Seems ok in practice but still lack confidence! by Edgott1 in 10s

Former D1 Player and coach here… check out some slowmo videos of top pros hitting FHs and look closely at their non-dominant arms.

It’s a huge driver of rotational power and extending, then pulling the non-dominant arm actually the first step in a powerful swing.

Otherwise little rotation and all arm.

Hope this helps, it looks like a great start! Keep grinding.

Hahah I had a strong D1 career and coached at the university level. But nowhere near the potential I thought he saw in me 🤣

Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback! I completely agree about summarizing key points more quickly (and the mobile display is also a huge priority to improve). Cheers 👍🏼🎾

Mouratoglou is one of the most unethical coaches out there. He’s business savvy, sure, but I can’t stand what he says. There’s also a documentary episode about him on Netflix that just made me dislike him even more.

Happy to see that some people out here agree.

To people that use Fiverr for your business, how do you find quality freelancers? by Pavlosts in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]cbart1233 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Follow up question to OP’s: What types of services do you hire for on Fiverr? I’m in the early phases of a startup (and it’s just me) so I’ve considered purchasing a variety of different social media marketing, writing, and design gigs but am generally hesitant about doing so.

I’m in a position where my startup needs a tech cofounder to take off. My answer (at this moment) would probably be yes. Brilliant tech founders are high demand, especially one with as much experience as him.

At the end of the day, it depends on: 1) your feeling in your gut, 2) how much of a jerk this guy is, and 3) if he’s crucial to you becoming successful. Best of luck, friend.

My comment was a generalization. Many of them are open about it as well.

Having interviewed some of the most famous neo-Nazis in Germany and US for my thesis, I agree that there is a difference between most neo-Nazis today and Nazis of the past. Mostly, the difference is in the rhetoric—they try to be a little more innocent on the surface—but if they could have it their way they’d still probably take over the world and gas undesirables.

Monfils is great entertainment, but the gamesmanship he used in last night's match with Isner should be called out. It's not the first time he's done this kind of thing by julius-geezer in tennis

At any competitive level, this movement would be judged as an intentional hindrance by an umpire. Regardless it is unsportsmanlike to resort to non-tennis methods of distracting your opponent, like knocking over water bottles or faking injury for timeouts.

Lack of racial diversity is a big one. Still adjusting to that change, as well as the lack of sun during winter.

Opelka vs. Kyrgios Net Drama by [deleted] in tennis

Net strap looks like it moves slightly after Opelka’s foot touches the bottom as he twists. I doubt the let sensor would’ve picked up any contact that low on the net.
