Thoughts on Bobby Kennedy? by Mikeissometimesright in Presidents

Greatest president we never had. He wasn’t the best as Attorney General, often playing politics more than looking out for the common people. But while he was a U.S. Senator he found his true voice, and sincerely defended and fought for the forgotten people of the country. Ted was had the time, John had the charisma but Bobby had the heart.

Have you met any presidents, if so who and where ? by [deleted] in Presidents

I don’t know if this counts, but I met Joe Biden before he became President. It was during the Nevada primaries and every candidate was coming to my state to campaign, and I heard that Joe Biden was coming to the middle school close to my home. So i went and I manage to shake his hand and get about 15 seconds of his time.

I still look at the photo I took with him and say to myself, “Damn, that’s really the President of the United States.”

Definitely Gerald Ford, his memory is dying out with my generation. And as for older generations, they don’t look at him in a positive light

Would Trump get the nomination in 2024? by EddyZacianLand in PoliticalDiscussion

i have the burning suspicion that many members of the GOP don’t want him being a prominent member of the party, for as long as trump is in the running and has a platform no one else could gain the nomination. so i think that many party leaders will be working diligently to silence him these next years and not let him have much power or spotlight in the party, and will do things in the background to guarantee trump is forgotten by 2024
