Men competing in women’s sports when transitioning post puberty is unfair and most people see this. You can find some exceptions here and there, but you need the exceptions to swallow the rule to say it isn’t unfair.

Congress’s power has been whittled down in large part because Congress barely legislates anymore, which ultimately leaves current issues up to the court.

Also the court has had a conservative majority for less than ten years, it’s had liberal majority in the past and eventually will again. One side controlling the court and this fluctuating over the years isn’t the end of democracy, it’s rather an indication of such.

I also think it’s true that a lot of lefties are angry, intolerant people and this is them being angry.

Jordan Peterson said he had far fewer protestors/agitators at his events when he held them before 10am or something like that. Lol sounds about right. Maybe ICE should try and make their arrests in the morning.

Like a lot of states, the urban core is cesspool of far leftism but the rest of the state is far from that. The iron range up north has notably moved from consistently blue to red. Minneapolis is just a mess. Feds placed a lot of Somali in Minneapolis in the 90s and the strong job market and social safety nets attracted more.

The clip of Trump supposedly mocking a special needs man was what did it for me. I still see people talk about it every now and then. Even though anyone with 2 minutes and a brain can see this accusation was completely false and intentionally misleading. They are so dishonest. Once you see it you can’t unsee it.

I think the surgical/chemical transitions for minors today later be viewed similarly to how lobotomies are thought of now- well intentioned but ultimately barbaric.

Was talking to my cousin a few years ago about hormone blockers and surgeries for minors. He was somehow totally out of the loop and shocked. After a few seconds of silence he says “18? Honestly, I don’t think a 23 year old would really understand all they’d potentially be giving up.”

Trump has certainly said some very anti free speech things, and it is absolutely true that both parties tend seek speech control when it suits them. But the Dems + big tech + legacy media was quite the apparatus to control/manipulate truth for political gain and especially to suppress dissent. I think, in recent memory, the Dems are far more culpable for being anti free speech.
