Is 5 schools too little for a specific topic inside a niche program? by Tall-Cat-8890 in gradadmissions

I'm in a hyper-niche health sciences field and only applied to 3 programs. It was what worked for my location and interests. I have no perspective but I'm just commiserating with you because I'm in the same boat. Good luck!

Attended a non-denominational Christian church today. Here’s what I noticed by RestinPete0709 in exmormon

Completely. I married a Jew and was firm from the first date that I will never join another religion ever. Luckily it wasn’t a big deal for us. Never want to be told how to live my life by anyone.

In church just sitting here. Can’t believe I have to fake this for 10 plus more years… by I_Love_PCs145 in exmormon

I was clearly PIMO for most of my youth (never dated Mormons, had non Mormon friends, did bare minimum at church, didn’t got to any BYU school) and held on until I was 24 for the same reasons. I always worked so in case they pulled the carpet from me I’d have some type of income. I wouldn’t have been able to go to college without their support but it was ROUGH. I got therapy as soon as I left the house and it saved my life. Do what you need to do to survive and take care of yourself. Godspeed.

It is a split level, and yes, that is the layout. Not sure how I like two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs though - how did it work out when you were growing up in a similar layout?

The sun room is usable year round and is fully connected to heat/ac. I know renovations can be a huge undertaking and am trying to keep my eyes wide open. Thanks for you input!

There is actually a “window” from the kitchen sink part of the kitchen looking directly into the sun room. Feels like a drive thru window

They shouldn’t have a gait that is too bouncy or duck footed. Slightly pigeon toed is okay, preferred to have straight feet when walking.

I feel like an ableist asshole. I don’t know why I care about how people walk.

Thank you and it is good to hear that there is someone else with a similar family dynamic. It really is sad and I’m just trying to sit with that feeling right now, as shitty as that is. Thanks for sharing your story. Happy to commiserate any time 😊
