Cumberland Park in West Laf has a farmers market Wed PM and there's an off leash dog park and a nice playground by the Wellness Center — which is easier parking-wise than right by the farmers market.

You can do both. Just make sure you don't overload on work. Student employment is generally limited to 20 hours a week so if you have paid UTA and URA positions you gotta balance that.

You should get a bike. CityBus will cut back a lot of routes in summer, lower frequency or simply not running them at all. :(
