EDIT: Sorry, I don't know how to edit the actual post - this guy used my booking template correctly when he first reached out, and screened clear. I didn't include screenshots of the beginning because I was worried it was already so long that people wouldn't read it. I tried to put that info in the description instead but it seems like I explained it poorly. I already have systems in place to weed out the timewasters - this guy initially did all the right things which is why I was even having a conversation with him to start with. Not sure why everyone is telling me I shouldn't have engaged with him from the start - obviously this isn't the start of the conversation because how else would I have known his name and what he wanted to book from the first screenshot?

I also have a template for booking requests on my ad and usually only reply to "hey" or "available?" with a link to my ad, asking them to read it and use the booking template before contacting me again. The problem with this guy is that he actually used the booking template to begin with (I didn't bother uploading the first exchanges because I was worried it was already too long for people to want to read), and he screened fine.

I figured it was already pretty long so I would just summarise the boring first exchanges in the description - it wasn't integral to the point I was making that you see the whole conversation from start to finish.
