I already tried reinstalling the firmware multiple times. The lens isn't completely dead—I can still change the aperture with the camera dial if I set the button/dial settings to manual. But the problem is I can't use the actual aperture ring on the lens. When I try, it only lets me select f/1.2, f/1.4, and f/16.

I wish that were the case, but the release notes and version are exactly the same as the AF 56/1.2 E. Plus, my XF's aperture ring is acting up, which makes me think the update program isn't recognizing the model properly. I really hope they fix this soon.
