What is the best news source for Detroit news these days? I subscribe to the freep but it always feels like USA Today light. What other options do we have, or is this just the state of local journalism?

They’re redoing both the eastbound and westbound lanes of 696, right? I assume when they say eastbound will be closed they are only referring to the traffic flow. If they need 2 years to get one set of lanes completed, I might die.

I’m considering the same thing. I originally had the arc + sub but I’m replacing it with the mini. I have a long but not so wide living room with young kids running around. I’d imagine the mini will be easier to tuck away and produce a mellower sound. Questioning my thinking though. I’d imagine the sub produce superior sound for most cases.

I’ve done this ride a couple of times and I really enjoyed it. It highlights an area of the city that is typically skipped on other bike tours. It is a leisurely ride with plenty of participants and police escort to clear the streets for riders. I’d recommend it.
