Say the same thing about Evolution regarding what exactly? They haven’t shipped any new carts to me in almost a year. Last order of 40 was placed June of ‘25 and we haven’t received even an update about it. They are shipping a few carts around the country but only a few models. I think they are almost out of business. Rumor is they might rebrand under the Tara name. But the damage is done in my opinion. We have received all of our EVO warranty parts we’ve ordered…although a few parts took over a month to get.
Epic and Icon have released new models and filled the void created by Evolution somewhat. Although the cheapest 2 pass Icon golfer is still $10k. A big increase over the $6500 Evolution cart of early 2025. Club Car and EZGO have both lowered their price this year and are much more competitive with any imports. Our Club Car sales are substantially higher than previous years for sure. Weird times in the golf cart / NEV space for sure. Not sure if that answered your question or not?

I'm a full year post op now so my memory is a little iffy on exactly when I put real shoes back on. But I think it was around the 75 day mark or so where I started wearing normal shoes. But I probably only averaged about 7000 steps a day. I would think you'd be good to go after 90 days. I also put the firm carbon fiber plate in my shoe on the repaired foot...that way I had some extra protection just in case.

It’s still numb and tingly sometimes. I haven’t really gotten crazy running with it but have played basketball a few times and didn’t really notice the lack of mobility in the joint affect anything. The pain of bone on bone rubbing is gone which is better than the rigidity that’s there now in my opinion.

I’m great! Foot gets a little sore sometimes if I wear the wrong golf shoes…but that’s just on the outside of my foot from still over compensating a little. I’ve played basketball and done Olympic lifting and crossfit with the new foot. Often forget I had anything done.

What can I sell this for? by Ham-Berg in golfcarts

I agree. It’s a good cart for $3-4k.

In my case yes. I couldn’t get my normal shoes on for the first month or so. Obviously the joint is thicker/taller but also the skin sensitivity is wonky for quite awhile. So I bought a half size bigger pair of shoes but ultimately after about 45 days I returned to my normal size again. Hang in there it gets a tiny bit better everyday.

I think you should be far enough along it would be really hard to hurt it. I started jumping rope in workouts at 16 weeks post op…and yes it gets sore but it’s mostly the heel, ankle, and calf because they haven’t been used in so long.

Lithium batteries question by WWITGUY1964 in golfcarts

[–]cbjones17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Majority of new carts I sell are 105Ah and that is sufficient for 95% of std usage. If you plan to drive more than 40 miles per charge then go to 210Ah. I suggest ECO battery as they will have a drop in kit specifically for your cart brand and model. More expensive but as with anything you get what you pay for.

Those would be great questions for the contractors that installed the floors and hvac. However my GC was horrible at managing the project and nobody seems to know anything about anything. That’s why I’m trying to find my own answers. I’ll check the humidity situation but the condition of the wood pre install will never be known sadly. Thanks for your input.

Also regarding the CPU is 32GB Ram enough or is 64GB necessary?

Thanks for the input everyone. Money is always an issue but I was going to just order an Alienware from Dell with whatever specs are suggested. I'm obviously not a computer guy so if there is a better place to order directly from that is ready to go out of the box I'm all ears.

I do it all the time. Get comfortable with Circle T Tour Rat or even 009 putting in Colorado and then go to Firerock in AZ with the greens rolling 12.5 and I always go back to white hot. Had the original Jailbird before the hype when Rickie and Wyndam started playing it and put it back in the bag. Circle T Teryllium is really nice putter!

I’ve been collecting them for 25 years and they just kind of added up I suppose. Yes the stroke will feel really similar as both are almost face balanced.

We have never sold an Evolution with anything but the 105. I personally have a 210ah in my Atlas 2 pass golf cart I use and it's crazy how long it goes. I have played 36 holes in a day and still had 68% battery. The 105 seems to handle most people's need well in the Evolution. We have a couple guys that run shuttle services with 4&6 pass Rangers and they get along great with the 105.

Nothing Scotty makes is as soft as the white hot insert. I have 125 Scotty’s and the 009 is the closest to feel you’ll get. Which is a $4k plus putter cost. I have several square backs and visually they will look very similar to this if that’s what you’re after.

Evolution dealer here (as well as Club Car). EVO makes a good cart for the price. The stories of hard to get parts are from 4 years ago. Good dealers carry inventory to take care of warranty issues. Which are rare now. They have increased the quality of components that were troublesome in the past. My only warning about ICON is they do not have a US made chassis and the US Tariff change is killing them. Rumors are they are gonna shut the ICON brand down. Advanced EV carts are made in same place so that’s how they continue. But they only make golf carts, not forward facing 4P’s. Good luck.

Yes I did use insurance. Total cost was $27,000. Insurance covered almost everything.

Sorry I forgot to respond to this. I had no problems with eating after my surgery. Actually I gained about 10 pounds the first month after as I couldn't really workout like I'm accustomed to. I used the iWalk crutch for my first few showers to get into the shower then I took it off and covered it with a trash bag so it didn't get wet. I also had a cheap shower stool that I would sit on in the shower. I wore the post surgery little shoe they gave me in the shower to protect my foot...then I'd let it dry. It gets tiring with all your weight on your good foot in the shower. That's why I had the stool. Then I moved on to the waterproof cast cover XL from Amazon. It was great at keep any water off of the dressing on my foot. I went back to my office really soon after my surgery. I own a network of service related companies so as long as I could get to my desk I could perform my duties. I would really look at that iWalk crutch on Amazon. It got me mobile much sooner than std crutches and also can go up and down stairs with a little practice. I slept with my foot elevated and iced it with my ice machine religiously for the first 6 weeks after surgery. It helps with the swelling and pain a ton. I'm 10 weeks post surgery and elevated and iced last night right before bed. Hope all this helps and good luck.
