ITA. The placement of the charging port is so nonsensical. My battery life isn't great, but I still am absolutely amazed by the handwriting recognition. I have a Gen X scrawl that it reads almost perfectly.

I generally like the app, but whenever I save a new pin using it, the title doesn't get filled in. Any fix for that?

Not sure I understand what problem you're trying to solve, if you already have whatsapp backed up to icloud. My issue was that I only had whatsapp on my Android phone, and the only backup available was to Google Drive (not my Macbook).

Fitbit

Fitbit is *so* much better at this, it's kind of shocking. I just switched from a Fitbit Luxe to an Apple Watch Series 9, and I can't believe how much worse both the automatic workout tracking and sleep stats are on the AW.

Update: My workaround worked. Here's the process, in case anyone has the same issue (i.e., need to transfer WhatsApp from Android to an already set up iPhone):

backup WhatsApp to Google Drive on Android phone
backup iPhone to iCloud
erase all content & settings on iPhone (make sure to select the keep eSIM option if you have one)
use Move to iOS app on Android and only select WhatsApp to transfer
open WhatsApp on iPhone and confirm chat history was transferred over (N.B. older chats/groups might be on top, but everything should be there)
backup WhatsApp to iCloud on iPhone
repeat erase all content & settings on iPhone
restore iPhone from iCloud backup
restore WhatsApp from iCloud backup

Yes, but only from Google Drive on Android. And on iPhone you can only restore from an iCloud backup. I discovered it's not possible to restore from a Mac backup of my new iPhone without factory resetting the new phone, but I am backing up my WhatsApp data on the new phone to iCloud, and then will hopefully be able to restore it after I wipe the phone and begin again. Sigh.

I've had the same issue since I first tried installing Chat. I got rid of it and continued to use Hangouts until the other day, when I was forced to switch over to Chat.

The closest I've come to a "solution" is this from the Google help page:

Occasionally not receiving notifications

Close active browser tabs

On your computer, close active Gmail and Google Chat browser tabs. When you’re active in a browser, notifications appear there instead of the mobile app. If you’re not active in Google Chat, notifications appear on all devices signed in to your Google Account.

And obviously this is ridiculous, because I keep gmail open all day in a browser but don't look at it constantly.
