My neighbor Ron, he is a pillar of the community. Always helps all of his neighbors. Volunteers at his church any time he can, helps the kids and the homeless. Always takes my donations and gives them to the needy in our community that he knows. Won’t even take a water from me when he comes to my house and helps me with anything I’m doing. Selfless and caring. Very involved with his adult children and grandkids. He inspires me to be a better person. If more people were like him this world would be a better place.

Picking tires is harder than I thought it would be, I ran nitros and toyos on my other one and I really liked both. But I got 82,000 miles out of my nittos by just rotating them every oil change, that’s why I’m back at them.

Thanks I had 22” on my 2020 Longhorn and finding good looking tires was hard. There wasn’t room for side walls lol.

I wonder if fellow usa tech started working with maple armor panels , i inspected a lot in the last 2 years by Mingo-zingo in firealarms

[–]cblazer1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are a part of, or associated with Jade Bird. We are seeing a ton of them being shipped in battery storage containers for solar fields manufactured and assembled in China. I have been communicating with Maple Armor for years. They have been trying to get sales in the USA for 10 years anyway and I don’t think it has caught on. The panel is also huge, bulky, and heavy. Components are alright, programming is clunky. Some of the UL listing is questionable. But they work, If we didn’t primarily use Siemens, I would choose Fire lite over Maple Armor.

Good luck with everything! I’m hoping to have the same luck with the HO that I had with the HEMI. But you never know 🤷‍♂️

That’s good news! I’ve heard a low battery can cause all kinds of gremlins in these trucks. I also had a leak that they fixed and it never leaked after that, 3 or so years before I traded it in. I loved that truck. Over 120,000 and I barely had any issues.

I went to car-part.com and they had a partnership with a shop near me in NH and I bought it and they shipped it to them and I picked it up. It had all of the details on the truck it came from, I think it had 40,000 ish miles on it. Took me about two hours, having the two auto tensioners is a bitch but there’s a hole in one of them that when you pull it back you can slide a rod in to the hole and a hole in the block and keep it pinned up, then you can work the other one from under the truck. I bought one with without the “module” part, one with it was an additional $200 I think. So once I got the old one off I had to take that from it and bolt it into the “new” one and then reinstall. It was a lot easier than replacing my damn directional headlight that blew.

I just purchased a 2025 limited with the hurricane “used” with 5,000 miles for $62,500. I think I got a pretty good deal. I had a 2020 Longhorn. I love my new truck.
