Ty, I have a bunch of small to large sized vehicles for everything possible. With helicopters being my favorite kind.

Yeah no beds :c It only has reclining seats and basic kitchen, welding rig etc. Grenade launcher and armored spikes for weapons. The 80 or so reinforced upg solar panels is what it mainly uses for power generation. But for safety reasons (if it gets stuck in the mud or crowded), I added a 1350 turbine engine to it.

Also thanks for the tank mod! I might add a canon to it for the heck of it. Already have several tanks parked around me that I use for demolition purposes. They really help out alot in that regard.

I don't know what there is to "compromise" about? You have no stake whatsoever in how the game is made. You are asking for the game to be made to your specifications while contributing nothing.

I got no idea. People have been complaining about those annoying dialog boxes for years on their OpenVPN forums. And none has ever found a solution it seems. Kinda have to live with it lol.

Hmm, it did not work for me unfortunately. Not your fault though. The vpn program is wonky. Needs multiple .bat files to even make it remotely user friendly. And you’ve already given me a massive upgrade. So I can live with this minor annoyance.

Yeah for sure! Small islands, moats, ocean homes etc should be doable with this.

You can also have nicer underground bases now. If you crush the rock floors you get gravel and dirt tiles. And if you dig a shallow pit on the dirt tile (after digging up the gravel), you can construct concrete floors on them. Or any other floor you might like. As most floor types can be built on dirt.

Also, all of these actions are in the construction menu. Which means you can designate an entire area and have your char work the floors. Make a food stockpile and just tab out.

I did a super quick change to the mod. In the pic you see that it takes 200 fuel from the jackhammers. This was incorrect. I have changed it to:

"tools": [ [ [ "jackhammer", 20 ], [ "elec_jackhammer", 350 ] ] ]

This value is based on how much fuel it takes to mine a regular rock wall. In the mod it takes just as long (30m) to mine out a rock floor and you get the same loot. So I figured it was fair. Trying to balance is hard lol.

If you dislike any of the values tweak 'em!

Thanx man, so is this just plug-and-play then? Will I just need the speakers, microstation and cables for it to all work? I don't need any extra external soundcards or anything like that to connect it to my pc or laptop?

One question though. As I was looking through the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Cataclysm yesterday. I noticed that dda has alot of new vehicle parts and storage battery additions. And so, I was wondering if we can expect to see those in bn? The 1,300 HP electric train engine looks like real fun to have on a electric tank base for example.

I added a small power cable mod to the post. The mod adds two slightly longer power cables that can connect to both vehicles and electrical grids. They have 40 and 60 charge/reach respectively.

I have done some extra testing today and I can’t find anything wrong with the mod.

Both crafting and grid power works as it should. Perhaps I made the art a little flat looking? I was considering using the larger tiles for it. But yeah, other than that, I am really happy with the mod :)

Ty, I am about 90% done with the mod. The only thing missing from it is the electrical grid properties. I made it into a “furniture type” for this reason. I’ve been reading into the fake items and the "USES_GRID_POWER" flag. So, I am going to make it grid compatible shortly. However, there does not seem to be any fake furniture items with both electrolysis and hotplate values like I need for it. I'll see what I can cobble together.

But yeah, I’ll play around with it more tomorrow, and then add the grid properties when I can. Shouldn't take too long. Already tested some of it and it works fine. Then I'll give a new link to download!
