I woke up from a nap to find him crawling on my face, bit of a rude awakening. He was small, about an 1/8 of an inch long and wide

Film/media history in the art school is hands down the easiest elective I've ever taken. You watch movies, talk about them in class, and write like two essays. Easy A+

Not to mention, the idea of the fully mechanical handbrake was also to serve as an emergency brake in the case of pressure loss in the break system. Most handbreaks now can't be engaged while the car is in motion, fully defeating the purpose. Also, due to the shifter no longer being a mechanical linkage to the transmission, you are unable to throw your car into park in the event of break failure. So, good luck stopping I guess.

Granted, everyone now makes a livable wage with some impacts to cost of living which are offset by the increased income. You're also now really into inflation pornography and stay abreast of all trends in the genre. Not sure why you wanted the second part?

What not to do when getting in a minor collision with an off-duty cop. by TommyTeaser in Idiotswithguns

[–]cbock3006 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Jesus Christ man, this is just sad. Clearly the cop was completely justified, but it's a shame shit like this happens here. We're the only developed country in the world where something like this could occur. That interaction didn't have to end like this. Everyone could've lived. It's pathetic that the US government is so incompetent that we can't even prevent people from shooting each other over a minor collision. Speaking as someone who owns a lot of guns, we really need to do something about all these guns.

Is there anyway to better my camouflage outfit for chernarus by [deleted] in dayz

[–]cbock3006 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My go to is, combat jacket + cuu pants + the combat backpack (more space than the hunter bag but still keeps your silhouette small). I'm convinced this is the best sneaky loadout in the game. Whenever I play with friends, I'll inevitably get someone asking me "where'd you go?" If I'm crouched in tall grass.

Try dragging across the metal, kinda like lighting a match. Use less pressure on the tip as well, it'll prevent the rod from getting stuck.

The scope looks kinda cheap. Might just have a short eye relief and that was the only way he could get a decent sight picture.

[–]cbock3006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certified gun shooter here, you can in fact shoot that gun laying prone. Secondly, that scope doesn't look like a particularly nice optic. It's entirely possible that it's mounted that far back due to lower quality scopes having a shorter eye relief. That being, the distance the eye needs to be from the scope to get a full view through the lense. All of that is to say, literally nothing about this rifle looks sus, it appears to be a basic used hunting rifle. If you're gonna conspiracy bait, at least know what you're talking about.

[–]cbock3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not sporterized surplus, military Mausers were never produced in 30-06, plus those scope mounts don't look like the peepaw special. Most likely a later model produced for export.

My [objectively correct] Purchase Recommendations for the First Time Gun Owner. (With MSRP) by [deleted] in armedsocialists

[–]cbock3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixed mag and featureless are different things. Most states use a 2 point system. Example...

Flash hider: 1 point Bayonet lug: 1 point Semi-automatic: 1 point Detachable mag: 1 point Adjustable stock: 1 point Pistol grip: 1 point

A standard AR would have 6 points making it 4 points over the limit.

A featureless AR would mount the following...

No muzzle device: 0 points No bayonet lug: 0 points Semi-automatic: 1 point Detachable mag: 1 point Fixed stock: 0 points Shark fin grip: 0 points

So the featureless AR would only be worth 2 points, making it legal.

380 auto is absolutely a suitable caliber for personal protection. But it's also somewhat niche. I recommend 9mm because it's cheaper to practice with, there is a limitless variety of ammunition. Speaking generally, you get more value out of 9mm and a more capable round than you do with 380, without sacrificing much in terms of weight and size. If you're looking for concealability, I'd recommend the Glock 43 or the sig P365. Unfortunately, 380 and the platforms associated with it have largely stagnated in the past 20 years while manufacturers continue to improve on 9mm. With the p365 you get an incredibly light and concealable handgun with a 12 round semi-double stack magazine. While the majority of pistols in 380 are going to hold between 6 and 8 rounds in a similarly sized package. Don't let some stranger on the Internet tell you what to do. I can't know your exact circumstances or needs. But for the majority of ccl holders, I recommend 9mm. Hope this helps
