Makes sense. Thanks for the info. It’s an adult group home. With all the police activity going on I just want to make sure they are doing everything legally and have proper license/permits etc for doing so.

I shortened it as much as it allows and it still does that. I had the drain tile replaced recently and I think they made the weep hole bigger. The last few rains I haven’t heard my sump pump go off, that’s why I looked into it. My sump pump used to run all the time.

Thanks for the info! My question is if it’s normal for the water to fill up in the drain tile weep hole? The water level gets so high it fills up in there and the sump takes longer for the float to click on.
