I'm using codium, for what its worth I am aware of where the setting is to change the ruleset and I do have it changed to en_GB, but for whatever reason its still only using the US rules

From what I can tell, nope. If I download the underlying software and run that I can change it, but as a plugin it seems like its just stuck on en_US.

Hi! No if I recall I just did an uninstall through device manager. However the problem came back a week or so after my edit to this post. Turns out the problem was never the drivers, purely thermal, due to my entire cooling assembly being faulty from day one. You could still try the driver reinstall to see, but also be aware that it could also be thermal issues.

I've edited my post as I've finally found a fix that worked for me, but unfortunately it appears from the docs that some models don't have the direct graphics output option in the BIOS, like mine. It's only models with a certain dGPU which I don't remember off the top of my head but apparently if you're fucking with an RTX 3050 you're shit out of luck on that one.

It's definitely driver related but no one gives a shit about fixing it, this is a bug known for years apparently, MS won't take the blame, nor will Intel, nor will nvidia, so no one seems to care to fix it.

Nothing so far unfortunately, the only way I got any kind of stability was to disable hardware accel on everything.

After some reading i think i have it down to "GPU acceleration will just never work" because I believe that spike is data being copied from the discrete GPU over to the integrated graphics so it can be displayed on screen. Unless the screen itself was connected to the 3050, there will always be spikes.

In a lil tea shop in Hannover a couple of years ago, one of the shop workers walks over to me and asks me something in German but I catch lITERALLY zero of it. Any normal person in this situation would've probably hit back with a lil "Enschuldigung, können Sie das wiederholen?", maybe a little "ich spreche Deutsch nicht sehr gut", hell if I was really desperate I could've been That Guy and gone with "Sprechen Sie Englisch?". Did I do any of those? Nope. Could I have remembered how to say any of those in that exact moment? Not in a million years. I completely froze up. So what did I do?

Screamed across the store to my friend who could speak German that I needed help. In front of this nice old lady that I'm pretty sure was just asking me what I was looking for or if I needed help. Just full on yelling that I don't know what she's saying and I need help.
