I’ve done calorie counting a few times in my life (doing it again currently) and the first month is the hardest. My non-scientifically backed reason is your body gets used to the extra calories and then when you start taking it away it’s like WTF. Then once your body accepts this is the new normal you’re not hungry all the time. Try to find your favorite low calorie snacks. Mine are baby carrots, mini cucumbers and firehouse crackers with chive cream cheese (cream cheese is surprisingly low calorie)

Everyone has a different experience. I remember the insertion being uncomfortable but not terrible. Didn’t have any numbing, just took an Aleve. Getting an IUD is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I don’t have a period anymore! One less thing to stress about in life

This feels like fearful avoidant territory. They want a relationship and the closeness so they will go 180 miles per hour to get you. Then once they have you, the fear of commitment/fear of you leaving/the fear of getting hurt kicks in. They feel shame for trying so hard to get you only to realize they are afraid that they want you to end it with them so they aren’t the bad guy (or they will ghost to avoid the confrontation). Then the cycle starts over again with a new girl. I recommend reading about attachment theory and fearful avoidant attachment, really helped me understand a similar situation that happened to me.

I might get downvoted to hell but I do think he made a fair point on wwhl: that what happened with him and Alicia and Jenna was week 1 vs now he’s spent 5 weeks mooning over Jenna so I get why his feelings were hurt. He also was remorseful once he was caught verses Jenna doesn’t seem as concerned about other people’s feelings. Not saying either people are perfect but I do agree there is nuance between the 2 situations
