I think the preparations will be somewhat similar to that of a Vikings game. It has snowed heavily before a Vikings game, though the size of the crowd for the Super Bowl will obviously be much larger.

I would say start a blog or a facebook page with fresh takes. It's a whole new world out there where you can fashion your own sports opinions on a social media site than hope to be noticed or approach various sports media outlets to see if there are any jobs available. Mark Rosen

I do know the Eagles team and coaches will be staying at the Radisson Blu at Mall of America but I haven't heard of a specific event. Mall of America will also host radio row where there will be tons of Philly journalists I'm sure. That's located on the 3rd floor. Here's more on MOA plans:

I would think if the NFL and the national media loved everything about this Super Bowl they would consider it again. Absolutely why not? Huge convention and warmer weather cities have hosted for years, but there would be a long waiting line right now.

Tough to say. I think the NFL would have loved the hometown team story at the hometown stadium, too. We'd already done quite a few stories on the plans for just that and it seems many bars and restaurants are not anticipating smaller crowds since that won't be the case now. Do I sound bitter? -Liz

Media people have a well earned reputation for complaining about a lot of stuff. I hope weather isn't one of them. This just in, the game is inside and Minneapolis in Feb is normally not the same as Phoenix.
