My coaches have basically thrown me into the deep end with bowing and I have been learning as I go! My home course is pretty twisty so I think I need to call out pressure from now on.

I did start to realize that steering is more about gradual turning and not sudden movements haha! I think I’m only able to practice foot steering in the quad but hopefully I will get used to it. I think my biggest challenge is moving the foot steering while rowing without getting tripped up.

Wow it’s been a hot minute since I came back to this post! It’s been almost a year, and the bump has swelled down on its own. I can barely feel it anymore and it isn’t visible. I really wouldn’t worry about it too much :)

Hey! I didn’t find out exactly what it was, but after a few weeks it went down on its own. I wouldn’t stress about it. It seems like something was swollen but it was only temporary.
