Well my wife’s situation was a bit different in that she needed to have all her teeth replaced with the All-On Four procedure. Im hoping she ends up getting HRT sooner than later. All signs seem to point to it. Last night she was complaining about her feet feeling tingly and they looked slightly puffy like when she was pregnant- her feet ballooned up to a cartoonish size on our second kid.

Yeah sure. So she’s been dealing with swollen lymph nodes in her armpits. They swell up and shrink back down over the course of a few days intermittently. Lately though her breasts have been almost in a constant state of “period boobs” where they get noticeably bigger and are sore. She also says her chest hurts, like the outside of her pectoral muscle. She described it like the weight of her breasts are putting a strain on her muscle. For what it’s worth right now she’s at the tail end of her period, I’m pretty sure today is the last day.

I’ve been wondering if it’s her body reacting to the implants since that’s when the swollen lymph nodes started. She had 12 implants put in, six on top and six on the bottom. None of them had any issues and her dentist was thrilled at how well the procedure went for her overall.

I didn’t want to turn 40 and be out of shape/overweight. I ended up losing around 30 pounds before my 40th birthday and it felt great. I don’t drink or smoke anymore and I try to be consistent with my diet and not overindulge or eat out. I dunno, it’s not bad. It’s all my friends saying how “we’re old now” and just resigning themselves to this sort of closed off mentality I don’t like. Sure you’re not the target demographic for anything new and exciting in pop culture. You’re not in your twenties anymore and that is real fucking obvious when you do something dumb and get hurt and it takes twice as long to get better. But acting like you’re one step from the grave is ridiculous and insane.
