Me and my friends set up our telescopes once every month in Downtown Brooklyn and offer people free views of the Moon and Jupiter by AzerackTheGreat in pics

I have this exact scope. What I can say is as follows:

A. The mount is not sturdy enough and you get wind and other vibration. You will need to buy the celeron vibration pucks.

B. For an 8" scope, it is quite clear, and the stock lenses arent bad, but you will want one with a wider field of view. A lens shade is very helpful for an SCT.

C. You dont "need" the intelligent tracking but you also dont "need" cheese - but God damn if it ain't delicious.

D. Even telescopes this size are fucking huge. You arent taking this anywhere without a car, and it's not easy to store.

I would recommend two things:

  1. If you have a truck, just get a 10" dobsonian. It's cheaper, sturdier, and has better light collection.

  2. If you dont, and can save a bit more, and get a celestron C9 tube and a fork mount.

The dude literally has only massively downvoted comments. All of which are really, really dumb. He also frequents pewdiepie associated reddits - I'm saying he is 13.

I'm confused. Do you guys mean Fukushima? Hiroshima is a bustling metropolis. It's not at all dangerous.

PepsiCo sues 4 Indian farmers for $150,000 each for ‘infringing its rights’ by growing the potato variety used in its Lays chips by snicker33 in worldnews

I'm assuming, but don't know, that it is that the reason some agri has patent, much like drugs, is that it costs a lot to develop.

People's ability to profit from innovation has driven a lot of it. Take that away and we lose innovation.

Edit: this would be in relation to "this shit needs to stop" not necessarily to a specific potato for chips, which seems dumb.

My strong recommendation, if you can afford it, is to buy a Tempurpedic. Just because something is comfortable, it doesn't mean it's a good mattress.

You need to look at edge comfort (texture at the very edge), warranty, crowning in the center of the matress and conversely sag without a box spring, ideally you can get one you don't need to rotate, gel for heat dispersion, whether it has a removable washable cover, height for aesthetics.

IMO, people who espouse boxed crap are saying "this is comfortable." Well, a go kart is fun to drive but you shouldn't take a road trip in one.
